Cal State San Marcos

Objective:
Generate interest and increase enrollment for fall semester 2002.

Target Market:
High school students preparing to graduate, potential college transfer students, and adults and professionals who would like to further their education.

Project Description:
760 Media was hired as Cal State San Marcos’ first official advertising agency. In order to increase enrolment at the university, we took a strategic approach using a multimedia advertising "Blitz" campaign. "Value your Future" and "Cal State San Marcos, My Choice" were creative slogans that were developed by 760 media’s team and adopted by the university. We launched the advertising and marketing campaign which consisted of print, online banner and out-door ad’s placed on buses in North County. "Club Cards" were also developed for the younger audience.

Result:
For the first time in the universities history, enrollment closed early due to the heavy volume of applications being received. The universities enrollment increased a total of 17% since signing on with 760 Media.
