Carlsbad, Ca – 760 Media, Inc., an award winning, international advertising and marketing firm based in Carlsbad, California, showed its gratitude to local schools and the United States Military recently by donating office supplies and United States Flag window-clings, in lieu of Memorial Day.
760 Media made the donation to Aviara Oaks Elementary School, a top school in the Carlsbad Unified School District that caters to students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Aviara Oaks Elementary first opened in 1990 with 350 students and 11 teachers and has since grown to over 800 students and 46 teachers.
“What better way celebrate Memorial Day, the day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation’s service, than by donating to our country’s youth in the form of the United States Flag,” says Jeffrey Donnelley, CEO of 760 Media.

Principal and CEO, Jeffrey Donnelley recently attended a meeting as a member of the Program Advisory Committee on Wednesday May 11, 2005. At the bi-annual meetings the Committee members guide the school’s administrators and teaching staff on what employers expect from advertising and graphic arts students upon graduation so that courses can better prepare students for post-graduation careers.
The Art Institute of California- San Diego has made a name for itself as the region’s premier school for commercial artists, designers and food service professionals. The Art Institute of California-San Diego offers exciting fields in Design, Media, Fashion and Culinary Arts and is expanding every year.
Donnelley first attended the Committee meetings in the Fall of 2004 as an observer. At this meeting he contributed a great deal and was presented with an invitation to be a permanent member of the Program Advisory Committee.
“It’s a true win-win for the school and the business community.” says Jeffrey Donnelley. The Program Advisory Committee will meet every six months and Donnelley will continue to be a consultant on the board, indefinitely.

Daniel Lara Rios, the art director at 760 Media, was invited to judge nominations for the Best 3D Animation category for the 24th Annual EVVY Awards. The EVVY Awards is judged and honored by industry professionals in almost every area of study offered by Emerson College. The awards allow nearly 200 students with the opportunity to learn skills and obtain hands-on experience necessary to succeed in the professional world. “There are some excellent creative people who simply need feedback to help hone their skills and I am glad to help,” said Daniel Lara Rios.
Daniel Lara Rios has produced 3D animations for clients such as Pechanga, University of Michigan, Sea Space, Palomar Technologies, the City of Dubai and 760 Media has won several awards for their designs.
